Siboglinum fiordicum sp. nov. (pogonophora) from the raunefjord, Western Norway

Abstract

The genus Siboglinum Caullery comprises twelve species: S. weberi Caullery; S. ekmani Jägersten; S. caulleryi, cinctutum, pellucidum, minutum, fedotovi, and plumosum Ivanov; S. atlanticum, and inerme Southward and Southward; S. veleronis Hartman; and S. fiordicum sp. nov. The last species is here described and illustrated, together with notes on the larvae, and reproduction.
