Abstract
The presence of cadmium, chromium, lead, nickel, and zinc have been investigated by atomic absorption spectrophotometry in the nemerteans Lineus bilineatus, L. ruber, L. viridis, Micrura fasciolata, M. purpurea, and Emplectonema gracile. Cr, Pb, and Zn were detected in all six species, Cd was found only in Emplectonema, and this species, together with Micrura fasciolata, also contained Ni.
