Abstract

Single breath pulmonary diffusing capacity, diffusing capacity per volume, total lung capacity, residual volume and ratio of residual volume to total lung capacity were measured in series of 251 non-smoking males and 247 non-smoking females, 13–65 years old. The measurements were performed using a Morgan Ltd. Mark 4 Resparameter. Equations were derived using age, height and weight as predictors.
