A case with development of a clinical picture of active chronic hepatitis and biopsy findings similar to chronic aggressive hepatitis after the use of sulfonamides is reported. Provocation test with 2 tablets of sulfonamide induced within hours detoriation of the liver function. After sulfonamide medication was stopped, liver function tests normalized and eventually, also the liver biopsy showed complete regression.
