Symmetrical Peripheral Gangrene after Suprapubic Prostatectomy

Abstract

Symmetrical peripheral gangrene is a rare condition with a multifactorial etiology and its treatment has not been clarified. The second case to have occurred in urologic patients is reported herein. This case highlights the need to be aware of this potential complication of urologic surgery.
