Abstract

Nephrogenic adenoma is a rare lesion of the urinary tract. Two cases in the urinary bladder are described. Histologically the tumor consists of cystic and tubular structures resembling the distal part of the nephron. The etiology and pathogenesis are discussed and a new ctiologic theory is presented.
