Mary Rella

Mary Rella, BA, DipCS is the Manager of Clinical Services at Yorktown Child and Family Services where she leads the clinical teams providing assessment, treatment, and consultation services to infants, children, youth, and their families. Having worked in clinical settings and in child welfare for over 27 years, Mary has significant experience and training, and has collaboratively developed and implemented new evidence-based approaches. Mary specializes in applying brain development and attachment science to infants, children and youth and in assessing and strengthening parent/child relationships and repairing relational trauma. Mary has a private practice working with individuals, families and couples and providing consultation and training to professionals in a range of roles and settings across Ontario in areas such as attachment, regulation, developmental trauma, caregiver mental health and parenting capacity. Mary is an energetic presenter, passionate about learning, teaching, and integrating new research, knowledge and ideas.
