As-tolerant Bacillus circulans isolated from as-polluted soils

Abstract

Since arsenic (As)-tolerant microorganisms have become relatively predominant in As-polluted soils (Hiroki 1993), they appear to play a considerable role in the turnover of organic materials in these As-contaminated environments.
