Abstract
We have investigated the chemiluminescence of 5, 6, 11, 12 - tetraphenylnaphthacene (rubrene) from reactions of hydrogen peroxide with oxalic esters by the visible and ultraviolet absorption spectroscopy.
The function of rubrene in these reactions is considered for several oxalic esters. The anomaly on the oxidation of bis (2, 4 dichlorophenyl) oxalate is discussed and an admissible explanation is sugested.
