Abstract
The influence of the axial N-heterocyclic ligands on the charge-transfer spectra of a series of iron(II)-iminooxime macrocyclic complexes is reported. Spectral correlations are discussed, based on the deconvolution of the absorption profiles and on the dependence of the charge-transfer energies with the Hammett [sgrave]+/- substituent parameters.
