The NMR and Viscosity Investigations of 1,3- and 1,4-Dioxanes in Binary Aqueous Solutions

Abstract

The measurements of ¹H NMR chemical shift and the shear viscosity as a function of temperature and concentration for 1, 3-and 1,4-dioxane-water system were carried out. Our experimental results are consistent with data derived from other works. Both the chemical shift and viscosity data suggested the association processes between water and dioxane molecules.
