Abstract
Absolute intensities of the v2 band of monodeuterated methane in the range of 2100–2350 cm−1 have been measured at 296.3 K by means of a Fourier Transform spectrometer at 0.006 cm−1 resolution. Together with data obtained earlier at 98.3 K we determined the rotationless transition moment |R|=(9.33×10−4±3%) Debye and the Herman-Wallis factor C=(0.0136±0.0003). We report the intensity measurements and the recalculated intensity values for both temperatures.
