Photoacoustic Spectroscopical Studies on [Cu(Cl)(Gly)(O-Phen)]·H2O Crystal

Abstract

The amino-acid copper crystal of [Cu(Cl)(Gly)(O-phen)]·H2O(I) was synthesized and its photoacoustic spectrum was recorded under normal atmosphere temperature. A semi-empirical method of coordinate-field-theory PLFT was utilized to calculate the d-d transition energy. According to the results, the spectrum was explained satisfactorily.
