Ellen R. Welch

Ellen R. Welch is Associate Professor of French and Francophone Studies at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She is the author of A Taste for the Foreign: Worldly Knowledge and Literary Pleasure in Early Modern French Fiction (U of Delaware P, 2011) and has published on seventeenth- and eighteenth-century prose fiction, periodicals, theatre, and court entertainments.
