Martin Marafioti

Martin Marafioti is Associate Professor of Italian at Pace University. His scholarly interests deal with medieval and early modern Italian literature, particularly the intersections between medical culture and narrative. He has published articles on Boccaccio and imitators of the Decameron (Sacchetti, Sercambi), as well as on the fifteenth-century physician Michele Savonarola. He is currently working on a translation of Savonarola's The Gynecological and Pediatric Treatise in the Vernacular for the series “The Other Voice in Early Modern Europe.”
