Ignacio López-Vicuña

Ignacio López-Vicuña is Associate Professor of Spanish at the University of Vermont. His research focuses on contemporary Latin American literature and film, queer theory, and representations of urban space. He has published scholarly articles on Southern Cone authors and filmmakers such as Roberto Bolaño, Raúl Ruiz, and Edgardo Cozarinsky, which have appeared in the journals Studies in Hispanic Cinemas, Journal of Latin American Cultural Studies, and Revista Hispánica Moderna. He is the editor, with Andreea Marinescu, of the volume Raúl Ruiz's Cinema of Inquiry (forthcoming, Wayne State UP).
