Thomas Matusiak
Thomas Matusiak is an assistant professor in the Institute of Humanities at SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Warsaw. His interdisciplinary scholarship addresses the intersections of cinema, performance, visual culture, and literature in modern and contemporary Latin America. He is currently preparing a monograph entitled The Visual Guillotine: The Cinematic Form of Violence in Latin America. His work has most recently appeared in Cuadernos de Literatura and is forthcoming in Studies in Spanish and Latin American Cinemas and the Journal of Latin American Cultural Studies.
