N,N′-Diphenylpiperidine-1-carbohydrazonamide 1 was prepared and reacted with halo compounds, active nitriles, diethyl malonate, ketones, CS2, phenylisocyanate, phenylisothiocyanate, LR, ethyl 2-cyano-3,3-dithiomethylacetate, and benzylidenenitriles to give the corresponding triazene, pyrazole, triazole, triazaphosphole, and triazepines 12–14 derivatives, respectively.

We describe discovery of a novel epoxidation reaction and a simple protocol for deprotection of tert-butyldimethylsilyl group. Synthesis of new analogs of forskolin containing imidazole for in vivo positive inotropic activity was accomplished. Compound 2 showed interesting activity.
