Abstract

A simple and safe method for the preparation of dialkyl 1‐azidoalkylphosphonates from dialkyl 1‐(4‐nitrobenzenesulfonyloxy)alkylphosphonates (dialkyl 1‐(nosyloxy)alkylphosphonates) and tetramethylguanidinium azide (TMGA) has been developed.
