Rosolic Acid–Catalyzed Conversion of Thiols to Disulfides

Abstract

Various aliphatic and aromatic thiols are converted to the corresponding disulphides by catalytic reaction of 4-[bis-(4-hydroxyphenyl)methylene]-cyclohexa-2,5-dienone in good yield.
