Abstract

A series of clopyralid hydrazide-hydrazone derivatives (4ap) have been synthesized. Their structures were confirmed by elemental analysis, infrared, and 1H NMR spectra. The bioactivities of compounds 4ap were tested with barnyard grass, rape, and S. aureus, but the results showed that they could not be considered the promising herbicidal or antibacterial agents.
