Microwave-Enhanced Hydrogenation of Carbon–Carbon Double Bonds in Single-Stranded Polymers by p-Tosylhydrazide

Abstract

A rapid and efficient method for the hydrogenation of the backbones of various single-stranded polymers with p-tosylhydrazide is developed using microwave irradiation, through which the corresponding saturated and more flexible polymers are obtained in good to excellent yields.
