Indium(III) Chloride: An Efficient Catalyst for the Synthesis of Amidoalkyl Naphthols

Abstract

Indium chloride was found to be a very efficient catalyst for the synthesis of amidoalkyl naphthols from β-naphthol, aromatic aldehydes, and acetamide/urea under solvent-free conditions using microwave irradiation.
