Abstract
Propargylamines are a versatile class of amine molecules which find broad applications in numerous fields such as medicinal chemistry and drug discovery research. A3-coupling reaction of terminal alkynes, aldehydes and secondary amines is an efficient route for the synthesis of biologically active propargylamines. Over the last decade, the utilization of magnetic nanomaterials as heterogeneous reusable catalysts has received considerable attention in organic chemistry. In this review, we focus on the synthesis and versatile application of magnetically recoverable nanocatalysts in A3-coupling reactions.
