Abstract

In a recent publication Jorens, Rawson and Wynberg ¹ described an elegant synthesis of the six isomeric cyclopentadithiophenones. The present work extends the stydy to the pinacol redution of the cyclopentadithiophenones I-III and the rearrangement of these pinacols.
