Abstract

The synthesis of 2,6-dihydro-6-methyl-3H-imidazo[1,2-b]pyrido[3,2-d][1,2,6] thiadiazine 5-oxide (4), a new ring system, is accomplished in three steps from 2-chloronicotinonitrile.
