Abstract

The cyclic ether-ester formation from the condensation of oxalyl chloride with tri and tetraethyleneglycols were tried in benzene/dioxan solutions in the presence of pyridine. The conformation of the ether linkage of the isolated products were investigated by high resolution ¹³C, ¹H and 2D-COSY spectra.
