Abstract

The synthesis of tetraethyl aminocyclopropylidene-1,1-bisphosphonate 1 and tetraethyl 2-(aminométhyl)cyclopropylidene-1,1-bisphosphonate 2 are described. The key steps include Michael addition, cyclisation and Curtius reaction for compound 1 and cyclisation, azide nucleophilic substitution and Staudinger reaction for 2.
