Chemistry Of N-Heterocyclic Compounds : Part I: Regioselective Synthesis Of Macrocycles Containing 4-Amino-L,2,4-Triazoles

Abstract

Regioselective synthesis of macrocycles containing 4-amino-1,2,4-triazole nuclei has been achieved by the reaction of 4-amino-3,5-dimercapto triazole, with appropriate l,o-dibromo alkanes followed by further alkylation with 1,(0 - dibromo alkanes to afford the desired triazolophanes.
