Abstract
With the development of people's concept of clothing, functional textiles have entered people's field of vision, and hemp fiber has attracted widespread attention due to its natural antibacterial properties. In order to maintain the natural antibacterial properties of hemp, this article uses hemp yarn as the raw material to explore the influence of ozone washing on the antibacterial properties of hemp in the finishing process of denim clothing. The results show that three factors affect the antibacterial performance of the yarn: the time of ozone treatment, the moisture content of the yarn, and the pH value. When the yarn moisture content is controlled to 60%, the pH value is set to 7, and the ozone treatment is 20 min, the antibacterial effect is the best, and the antibacterial rate reaches 89.7%.
