A report on the seventh international conference on transport theory

Abstract

The seventh in the Blacksburg series of transport theory conferences, begun in 1969 and held biannually ever since,∗ took place on the campus of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, on March 17–20, 1981. Paul Nelson and Dean Victory, of the Texas Tech Math Department, organized the conference, which was supported financially by the United States Department of Energy and by the Center for Energy Research, the College of Arts and Sciences and the Graduate School of Texas Tech University.
