Similarity solutions to a nonlinear model for the nuclear breeding process

Abstract

A 3×3 semilinear hyperbolic system, describing the breeding process of nuclear engineering, is studied by the application of the Lie group method. Similarity solutions are consequently constructed, and commented on both physical and mathematical grounds.
