Abstract
Every year, a symposium on mathematical physics is held in the physics building of the Nicolas Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland. This symposium, held in conjunction with the editorial board meeting of Reports on Mathematical Physics, is sponsored jointly by the editors, the State Committee for Scientific Research, the Scientific Society in Toruń and the Institute of Physics of the University (strangely lacking is representation of the mathematics department).
