Editorial: Appreciation for Service

I write to the readers of World’s Poultry Science Journal. The members of the Editorial Board for World’s Poultry Science Journal have provided invaluable service to the journal and to the World’s Poultry Science Association (WPSA). By reviewing submitted manuscripts and making suggestions for expert external reviewers, they have maintained the quality and rigor of our peer-review system. The current members of the Editorial Board have served three Editors-in-Chief in recent years. I write to express my sincere appreciation for their help and service. The current members of the Editorial Board are listed below.

Werner Bessei, University of Hohenheim, Germany

Fallou Gueye, Senegalese Institute of Agricultural Research, Senegal

Roel Mulder, Spelderholt Poultry Consulting, The Netherlands

Nikola Puvaca, University of Novi Sad, Serbia

Julie Roberts, University of New England, Australia

Paul Siegel, Virigina Tech University, USA

Karen Schwean-Lardner, University of Saskatchewan, Canada

Michele Tixier, National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA), France

Zehava Uni, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel

I thank all of them for their service to the journal and to the WPSA.

The Worlds’ Poultry Congress will meet in Paris from 07-11 August, 2022. At that time, I will be naming a new Editorial Board for World’s Poultry Science Journal.

Again, I want to express my sincere gratitude to all of the current board members for their years of help and service. Thank you.

I look forward to serving the World’s Poultry Science Association as Editor-in-Chief for World’s Poultry Science Journal.
