The disease of pigs in New Zealand known as foot-rot has been briefly described in a previous communication (Osborne, Citation1950). Over the period 1948 to 1951, considerable work, mostly of a survey nature, has been undertaken and, as it appears that there will be no further investigations in the near future, the findings to date are set out here for the benefit of other workers who may be interested in this disease.
