There is little information in the literature on vibriosis of cattle in New Zealand. Te Punga and Boyes (Citation1958) described experiments on transmission and treatment of experimentally infected cows in which infected cows were successfully treated with intra-uterine irrigation of 1 g streptomycin sulphate in 30 ml physiological saline.
