Abstract

Extract

The purpose of this communication is to describe an apparently little-known granulomatous condition affecting the skin and subcutaneous tissues of domestic cats. The disease was first encountered in 1958 in the course of a sporadic histological sampling of animal tumours submitted through the interest and enterprise of local veterinary surgeons. Since then, a total of nine cases has been collected, all of which were seen in routine veterinary practice in the Auckland urban area.
