Ascaris lumbricowes in lambs

A number of large nematodes identified as Ascaris lumhricoides were recovered from the small intestines of a line of lambs slaughtered in December, 1963. These parasites had grown to the usual size of mature A. lumbricoides recovered from pigs, and the uteri of female worms were full of eggs.
