Abstract

“Seldom in the history of medicine and pharmacology has a group of drugs enjoyed such wide acclaim and usage after their introduction as have the glucocorticoids and A.C.T.H.” (McDonald, Citation1965). Even so, few cases of clinical overdosage have been recorded in the veterinary literature (Bloom, Citation1959; Walker, Citation1962; Munson and Belshaw, Citation1966).
