Abstract

Extract

Sir—In New Zealand, the common liver fluke Fasciola hepatica L. has within the last ten years, spread progressively to parts where it was previously not considered to be a problem (R. M. Salisbury, pers. comm.; B. Fraser, pers. comm.; and CitationMoxham et al., 1969). This has prompted an interest in the Lymnaeid snail intermediate hosts.
