Pyloric stenosis in three cats and its correction by pyloroplasty

Very little has been published about pyloric stenosis in cats. CitationWilkinson (1966) states “stenosis of the pyloric sphincter is a rare congenital condition of the kitten or young cat”, and CitationReed (1964) also states “pyloric stenosis (congenital) is very rare”. CitationJoshua (1950) has seen cases very suggestive of pyloric stenosis in adult cats.
