, &

Abstract

Extract

Sir,—In the course of routine bacteriology on pnemonic sheep lungs, a Neisseria sp. has been isolated on a number of ocassions both on its own and together with Pasteurella haemolytica. As a result of the isolation of this Neisseria sp. and because of the absence of reports in the veterinary literature of such isolations, it was decided to examine fresh abbatoir material.
