For descriptive purposes the terms lymphosarcoma, malignant lymphoma, or lymphocytic leukaemia are synonymous. Each describes a highly fatal neoplastic disease characterized by lymphatic tissue enlargement or invasion of non-lymphatic tissue by often a typical cells of lymphoblastic character. The disease in its many forms is common to man, dogs, cats, pigs, cattle, sheep and horses.
