Although congenital pyloric stenosis is common; in human infants (Donovan, Citation1946; Rheinlander and Swenson, Citation1952) and in puppies (Secord, Citation1957), it is recorded as being rare in kittens (Reed, Citation1964; Wilkinson, Citation1966). The writer (Twaddle, Citation1970) has described the diagnosis and surgical correction of pyloric stenosis in three adult cats, and this paper presents two cases of congenital pyloric stenosis in kittens.
