Abstract

Extract

Haemangiomas in animals have been recorded frequently, but there have been few reports of their occurrence in the canine kidney. According to CitationCotchin (1951) and CitationJabara (1968) primary neoplasms of the kidney are rare, in dogs and, when they occur, usually involve the epithelial tissues. The relative rarity of primary renal tumours, particularly those associated with endothelial tissue, has prompted this report of a case of renal haemangioma involving the, anterior Dole of the right kidney in a 4-year-old male working dog.
