The anthelmintic efficiency of haloxon (3 - chloro - 7 - hydroxy - 4 - methylcoumarin bis (2-chloro-ethyl) phosphate) was first reported by Brown et al. (Citation1962). Since then it has been used extensively in the U.K., Africa, Europe, North and South America, Australia and New Zealand. It has a broad spectrum of activity against nematodes of domestic animals and birds.
