Sir:- The paper Canine parvovirus in New Zealand: epidemiological features and diagnostic methods by G.W. Horner [N.Z. vet. J. 31 (1983): 164-4] suggests “it is probable that many veterinary clinics were heavily contaminated with CPV” quoting an Australian reference in support of his contention.
