Abstract

Extract

Numerous survey articles on bovine neoplasia have been published worldwide, only one being from New Zealand (Shortridge and Cordes, Citation1971). Although the prevalence figures vary between countries, there is general agreement that the most common bovine neoplasms are located in the skin and soft tissues, and that they include fibropapilloma, fibroma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma.
