Abstract

Extract

Dr McKenna is correct in pointing out that the correlation quoted was between FECs and the corresponding worm burdens from individual animals. We were always aware of this, but during the reviewing/editing process a number of changes were made to the paper which unfortunately included the insertion of the word “mean” in the sentence concerned. Regrettably this change was missed during our check of the galley proofs.
