Re: Development of real-time reverse transcription PCR assay for detection of a novel nidovirus associated with a neurological disease of the Australian brushtail possum (Trichosurus vulpecula)

This article refers to:
Development of a real-time reverse transcription PCR assay for detection of a novel nidovirus associated with a neurological disease of the Australian brushtail possum (Trichosurus vulpecula)

The paper by M Dunowska et al. published in the New Zealand Veterinary Journal 61, 289–291, 2013, entitled, “Development of realtime reverse transcription PCR assay for detection of a novel nidovirus associated with a neurological disease of the Australian brushtail possum (Trichosurus vulpecula)”, contained an error as the normalised values of viral RNA load were presented as number of copies per pg of total RNA. The correct units should be the number of viral copies per μg of total RNA.
